Helping our children and adults live the best possible life their disability allows.
Stimulation Centre
The stimulation centre runs from 08:00-12:00 daily following the provincial school calendar.
Aftercare services are available until 16:30. The starting age at the stimulation centre is two years old. We have different classes to cater for the varied needs of the children and adults attending. We have a toddler class, a school preparation class for children with the potential to possibly attend special needs school, classes who focus on sensory stimulation and life skills, a class for children and adults with cerebral palsy where the focus is on optimal positioning…
Residential
Our residential facility is a “home-away-from-home” for children and adults with intellectual or physical disabilities in need of full-time care.
Registered nurses oversee care and medication for each individual and is available 24 hours of the day. Our caregiving staff provide care with love and patience. The residence provides three meals per day that is approved by a dietician and is also geared for PEG feeding.
Group Home
Takes the form of a stand alone house on our property.
It is home to fifteen adults with either physical or intellectual disabilities who are able to perform their own self care tasks. Individuals in Group Home has lower support needs than the adults staying in the residence. There is a house mother on duty in the week during the day. There is one additional carer in the house 24 hours of the day. Group Home also provides three meals per day to residents. A vocational programme is run at Group Home that is overseen and planned by an Occupational Therapist.
